Our mixed team suffered their first defeat of the season on Wednesday at home to Bishop Road. Team selection issues combined with an injury to Bridget after only a few points played led to a comprehensive six nil thrashing. To add insult-to-injury, a six nil loss was the only result that could deny Academy promotion, with Bishop Road taking the spot in Div 5a next season instead. The whole team were very disappointed but will have to wait until matches restart in the autumn to put things right.
